Outdoor Dances

Endless Waves

2026 Summer Outdoor Dance Series

The sea is calling you home…

Join us for embodied gatherings, dancing on Earth & sea. These outdoor dances invite us into deeper relationship with the Earth - to be moved by her rhythms, inspired by her beauty, and to remember ourselves as part of her living body.

Rewild your body - listen and be moved by the land.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I acknowledge and honor the original caretakers of the lands we gather and dance on now: among other Coast Salish people, Vashon-Maury Island is the traditional, unceded land of the sx̌ʷəbabs (“Swift Water People”), known today as part of the Puyallup Tribe, who call themselves S’Puyalupubsh - “a people who are generous and welcoming to all people (friends and strangers) who enter our lands.” I offer recognition and respect to the ancestors past, present and emerging. If there is anyone reading this statement or attending any Danser Libre classes that are descendants from any first naSons lineage, you are honored and included in this acknowledgement too.
